Digestif

7114 E. Stetson Dr.
Scottsdale, AZ 85251
480-425-WINE (9463)
Website
The waiters wear indie rock t-shirts and the bar serves absinthe at this eclectic SouthBridge eatery, brought to us by restaurateur Peter Kasperski (Sea Saw, Cowboy Ciao, Kazimierz World Wine Bar). Chef Payton Curry’s rustic, “Cal-Ital” menu includes daily-made pastas, savory crostata, and a killer “Farm to Table” seasonal vegetable dish, while pastry chef Tracy Dempsey sweetens up the end of the meal with tarts and homemade gelato. As the name suggests, there are plenty of exotic digestifs available; if you dare to flirt with the Green Fairy, look forward to a charming 19th-century-style presentation, complete with a slotted spoon, a sugar cube, an antique-looking water fountain to tranform the absinthe into a surprisingly smooth drink.
